Paper Bag Party
How versatile paper bags are! You can cut them, paint or color them, paste curly paper eyelashes and noses on them, make masks or stuff them with paper and shape into puppet heads. Traumatize your young guests. Play "What the hell is that thing sticking out of the sack?" You can entertain the cat, discreetly hide a fifth, scare the hell out your elderly uncle that stormed the beach at Normandy, start a fire. Small bags are handy, too, for take-home favors. Label one for each guest ahead of time so prizes, treats and favors don't get lost. Drive all over town to find a grocery store that will actually give you a paper bag.
